do i need a referral from my doctor?
The short answer is no, you do not need a referral from your family doctor to see a naturopathic doctor.
Dr Purdy will not ask you to discontinue any medication or interfere with any treatment you are receiving from your family doctor or specialist.
In many cases, naturopathic medicine can also support treatments you are undergoing, which means that being treated for a certain condition does not exclude you from naturopathic medicine.
If you do not have a family doctor, naturopathic medicine can be helpful for you as well.
