As you may know, I place a great deal of emphasis on food and nutrition as part of health and healing plans, and as a general way of life. As said by Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”.

Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive, but it does take more time and more planning. So make the best of your time in the kitchen, invite some friends over, make cooking a family event, put some great music or a podcast to listen to while you chop vegetables, feel the different textures of food and take in the aromas.

I’ve selected the recipes below for flavour and nutrition. Most are suitable for therapeutic diets, but you may want to double check just to make sure!**
