There are a few natural times in the year when we naturally tend to focus on our health, including September, January and April. These are new “beginnings” in a sense, and we want to start fresh. But when we think about it, there is no better time to focus on your health than NOW.
With such a predominant state of general un-wellness in our society, I’ve been taking a hard look at why we are feeling this way. We are generally more tired, more inflamed, more heavy and less happy that we want to be. Not to mention the consistently rising rates of cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, anxiety and depression. Why? In a time where we have access to everything to make us happier and healthier, Why?
I have come up with several reasons for this, including our busy lifestyle, high pressure in many areas of our life, environmental conditions (air and water quality), the quality of our food, and two other big ones: NUTRITION and LIFESTYLE.
According to the World Health Organization, the number one cause of disease in the world are what we call lifestyle diseases – these are our chronic disease, especially cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
In response to this un-wellness, and the general direction our society is going in terms of health, I’ve created a health reset program to help bring an awareness of how food affects our body and to start putting our own health and wellbeing first. As a result, I’ve been seeing much better results in all areas of health – energy, sleep, digestion and gut health including leaky gut, pain levels, allergies, mood, blood pressure, weight management, hormone balance, skin and hair, and the list goes on.
The Health Reset Program is a directed 3 week core program that is based on nutrition and self-care with individualized health support through testing and supplements as needed. It’s a health reset program because it removes all the main inflammatory foods from the diet for 3 weeks, which are then re-introduced one at a time. Based on experience and results as well as science, this program really brings you to take a close look at what you’re putting into your body, and to learn how food can make you feel your absolute best or your absolute worst. During the 3 weeks, there is also a focus on self-care practices that help calm the nervous system and help you in the process of reclaiming your health.
Rather than masking health concerns with medications and even supplements, the goal of this program is to restore health so you don’t have to rely on these to feel great!Book Now
